We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the overall operations, commercial performance, and strategic growth of a leading hospitality and fine dining restaurant group in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, operational excellence, business expansion, and organizational development while ensuring exceptional guest experiences across multiple outlets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall business performance of the restaurant group and ensure achievement of revenue, profitability, and growth objectives.
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to enhance sales, market share, and brand positioning.
- Drive expansion initiatives, including new restaurant openings, franchise opportunities, and market development projects.
- Oversee daily operations across multiple outlets to ensure operational efficiency and service excellence.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial performance, and cost-control measures.
- Identify operational challenges and implement improvement initiatives to maximize profitability and productivity.
- Lead and mentor senior management teams, ensuring alignment with company objectives and performance targets.
- Develop, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across operations, finance, customer experience, and human resources.
- Establish and maintain effective organizational structures, policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, food safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Collaborate closely with ownership and executive stakeholders to support long-term business goals and expansion strategies.
- Drive customer experience initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction, loyalty, and brand reputation.
- Support franchise development by establishing scalable operational standards and systems.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of senior leadership experience within hospitality, restaurant groups, or food & beverage operations.
- Proven GCC hospitality experience is mandatory.
- Strong experience managing multiple restaurant outlets and large operational teams.
- Demonstrated success in restaurant launches, business expansion, and growth initiatives.
- Strong commercial, financial, and operational management skills.
- Experience leading organizational restructuring and performance improvement programs.
- Franchise development experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory.
