We’re looking for an MEP Estimator with a strong electrical background to prepare accurate cost estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents for MEP (with focus on electrical systems).
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and material take-offs.
• Review project scope and identify risks, gaps, and value engineering opportunities.
• Source and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams.
• Support bid submissions, budgeting, and cost control processes.
• Maintain estimation databases and cost benchmarks.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in MEP estimation.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and materials.
• Proficiency in estimation software and MS Excel.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Preferred:
• Experience in GCC projects.
• Familiarity with local standards and regulations.
