Wood Painter

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter (Wood) for a reputed organization in Qatar. The candidate will prepare, paint, and finish wooden surfaces with precision, ensuring high-quality, smooth, and durable results, while collaborating with the carpentry and production teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare wooden surfaces for painting by sanding, filling, and priming.
• Apply stains, varnishes, paints, and other finishing materials evenly and accurately.
• Ensure high-quality finishes that meet design specifications and client expectations.
• Mix and match paint colors as required.
• Inspect finished surfaces for defects or inconsistencies and correct them.
• Maintain cleanliness of the workspace and tools, following safety and health regulations.
• Coordinate with carpenters, designers, and other team members to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain inventory of paints, varnishes, and other finishing materials.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in painting or woodworking is a plus.
• 2-3 years of experience as a wood painter or in a similar finishing role preferred.
• Knowledge of different types of wood finishes, stains, and paints.
• Ability to use hand and power tools for surface preparation.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
• Good physical stamina and hand-eye coordination.
• Awareness of workplace safety standards and proper handling of paints and chemicals.
