We are looking for a skilled Turkish Grill Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing traditional Turkish grilled dishes, including kebabs, köfte, and other meats, with an emphasis on authentic flavors and presentation. The Turkish Grill Chef will be responsible for overseeing the grill station and ensuring the highest level of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook traditional Turkish grilled dishes such as kebabs, lamb, chicken, köfte, and vegetables using various grilling techniques.
  • Ensure all dishes are cooked to the highest standards, preserving the authentic flavors and presentation typical of Turkish cuisine.
  • Maintain the grill station, ensuring cleanliness and organization at all times.
  • Monitor and control the grilling process, adjusting temperatures and grilling times to meet the required standards.
  • Work with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality food to customers.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Ensure proper seasoning, marination, and preparation of meats and vegetables according to traditional Turkish recipes.
  • Handle the grill equipment and utensils with care, ensuring they are properly maintained.
  • Collaborate with the team to innovate new dishes or improve current offerings while staying true to Turkish culinary traditions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Grill Chef, with expertise in Turkish cuisine and grilling techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of traditional Turkish grilling methods, spices, and marinades.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high food quality.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A passion for Turkish cuisine and an understanding of its cultural importance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capability to lift heavy items and manage hot grills and cooking equipment.
