We are hiring a skilled Tandoor Cook to join a well-established restaurant group. The ideal candidate will have expertise in preparing a variety of tandoori dishes with authenticity and precision, ensuring high-quality taste and presentation in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Requirements:
- Prepare and cook a wide range of tandoori dishes including kebabs, naan, and other traditional specialties.
- Operate and maintain tandoor ovens and related kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure proper marination and seasoning techniques are followed to maintain authentic flavors.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to meet restaurant standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and tandoor area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Comply with all food safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
- Asian nationality preferred due to cuisine expertise.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Tandoor Cook in a restaurant or hotel kitchen, preferably in the GCC region.
- Strong knowledge of tandoori cooking techniques and spices.
- Ability to manage a tandoor oven efficiently and safely.
- Good time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Basic communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
- Team player with a professional work ethic.
- Locally available in Qatar with a valid visa and QID.
