Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Sweet Maker (Halwai) to join our restaurant team under a leading facility management company in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of hands-on experience in preparing a variety of traditional Indian sweets and desserts. This role requires passion for authentic Indian confectionery, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality production standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a wide range of Indian sweets such as Gulab Jamun, Rasgulla, Jalebi, Barfi, Ladoo, Kaju Katli, and other milk- and syrup-based sweets.

  • Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.

  • Handle preparation and cooking of sweets in bulk quantities while ensuring hygiene and safety standards.

  • Monitor inventory and ensure proper storage of ingredients and finished products.

  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment used in sweet preparation.

  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to support restaurant operations.


Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of experience as a Sweet Maker or Halwai, preferably in a commercial or restaurant kitchen.

  • Proficiency in preparing various types of traditional Indian sweets and mithai.

  • Knowledge of ingredient handling, preparation techniques, and cooking times.

  • Strong sense of taste, creativity, and quality control.

  • Indian nationality preferred for cultural and culinary familiarity.

  • Ability to follow hygiene protocols and company standards.
