Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Sweet Maker (Halwai) to join our restaurant team under a leading facility management company in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of hands-on experience in preparing a variety of traditional Indian sweets and desserts. This role requires passion for authentic Indian confectionery, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality production standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare a wide range of Indian sweets such as Gulab Jamun, Rasgulla, Jalebi, Barfi, Ladoo, Kaju Katli, and other milk- and syrup-based sweets.

Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.

Handle preparation and cooking of sweets in bulk quantities while ensuring hygiene and safety standards.

Monitor inventory and ensure proper storage of ingredients and finished products.

Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment used in sweet preparation.

Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to support restaurant operations.
Requirements:

1–2 years of experience as a Sweet Maker or Halwai, preferably in a commercial or restaurant kitchen.

Proficiency in preparing various types of traditional Indian sweets and mithai.

Knowledge of ingredient handling, preparation techniques, and cooking times.

Strong sense of taste, creativity, and quality control.

Indian nationality preferred for cultural and culinary familiarity.
Ability to follow hygiene protocols and company standards.
