As a Sous Chef - Pastry at our company, you will be responsible for creating and executing delectable pastries, desserts, and baked goods that delight our customers. Your artistic flair, attention to detail, and dedication to producing high-quality desserts will contribute to the overall success of our culinary offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

Menu Development: Collaborate with the culinary team to design and develop innovative pastry menus that align with our brand and customer preferences.

Production: Oversee the daily production of a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts while maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.

Quality Control: Implement and uphold high standards of quality control to ensure that all pastries meet our exacting standards.

Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory of pastry ingredients, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste.

Training and Supervision: Train and supervise pastry staff, ensuring a cohesive and efficient working environment.

Creativity: Bring creativity and innovation to the pastry department, staying current with industry trends and incorporating new techniques and flavors into the menu.

Adherence to Health and Safety Standards: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.


Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role.

Culinary degree or equivalent certification.

Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry ingredients.

Creative flair and a passion for staying current with industry trends.

Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
