The Senior Shift Leader plays a key leadership role in overseeing daily operations during assigned shifts within a luxury hotel or resort. This position ensures seamless service delivery, operational efficiency, and exceptional guest experiences by leading teams, resolving issues proactively, and upholding the highest luxury hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise operations during assigned shifts, ensuring service excellence across all guest touchpoints.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for operational issues, guest concerns, and escalations during the shift.
  • Support department heads by coordinating team activities and ensuring adherence to SOPs and brand standards.
  • Monitor staff performance, grooming, and service behavior to maintain luxury presentation standards.
  • Ensure smooth handovers between shifts with clear communication and reporting.
  • Address guest feedback and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring effective resolution.
  • Assist with staff scheduling, task allocation, and on-the-job training.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security procedures at all times.
  • Prepare shift reports highlighting operational issues, guest feedback, and corrective actions taken.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or shift leadership role within luxury hotels or high-end hospitality environments.
  • Strong operational knowledge of hotel or hospitality operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
  • Strong understanding of luxury service standards and guest expectations.
