Senior Loss & Prevention Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Loss & Prevention Officer to join a prestigious luxury hotel in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and protection of guests, employees, and property by leading loss & prevention efforts, enforcing security standards, and minimizing risk within a high-end hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor all areas of the property through surveillance and regular patrols to detect and prevent security breaches.
- Lead and supervise a team of loss prevention officers, ensuring effective execution of duties and adherence to policies.
- Investigate incidents of theft, misconduct, or safety violations, and prepare accurate, detailed reports.
- Enforce security protocols while maintaining high standards of guest privacy and service.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures to protect assets and ensure guest and employee safety.
- Coordinate with hotel departments to ensure consistent compliance with safety and security procedures.
- Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies or suspicious activities.
- Maintain strong working relationships with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in security management or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in loss & prevention or security operations.
- Previous experience in luxury hotel or hospitality environments is a strong asset.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance systems, access control, emergency response, and safety procedures.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in managing or supervising a team.
- Excellent observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and night shifts.
- Relevant certifications in loss & prevention or security are an advantage.
