Senior Loss & Prevention Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Loss & Prevention Officer to join a prestigious luxury hotel in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and protection of guests, employees, and property by leading loss & prevention efforts, enforcing security standards, and minimizing risk within a high-end hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor all areas of the property through surveillance and regular patrols to detect and prevent security breaches.
  • Lead and supervise a team of loss prevention officers, ensuring effective execution of duties and adherence to policies.
  • Investigate incidents of theft, misconduct, or safety violations, and prepare accurate, detailed reports.
  • Enforce security protocols while maintaining high standards of guest privacy and service.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures to protect assets and ensure guest and employee safety.
  • Coordinate with hotel departments to ensure consistent compliance with safety and security procedures.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies or suspicious activities.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in security management or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in loss & prevention or security operations.
  • Previous experience in luxury hotel or hospitality environments is a strong asset.
  • Strong knowledge of surveillance systems, access control, emergency response, and safety procedures.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing or supervising a team.
  • Excellent observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and night shifts.
  • Relevant certifications in loss & prevention or security are an advantage.
