As a Reservation Agent in the aviation industry, you will play a pivotal role in providing excellent customer service by assisting passengers with flight reservations, changes, and inquiries. Your expertise and efficiency will contribute to ensuring smooth travel experiences for airline customers.
Job Responsibilities:
Handle incoming calls and inquiries from passengers regarding flight reservations, ticketing, and travel-related queries.
Assist customers in booking flights, modifying existing reservations, and providing information on flight schedules, fares, and airline policies.
Process ticket sales and payments accurately, adhering to airline procedures and payment processing guidelines.
Resolve customer issues and complaints professionally, aiming for prompt and satisfactory resolutions.
Coordinate with other departments such as ticketing, baggage services, and ground operations to ensure seamless passenger experiences.
Stay updated on airline policies, procedures, and fare structures to provide accurate and timely information to customers.
Utilize reservation systems and software effectively to manage bookings, seat assignments, and special requests.
Maintain confidentiality of customer information and adhere to data protection regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality, tourism, or aviation is advantageous.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Reservation Agent or in a customer service role, preferably within the aviation industry.
Experience in the GCC region is preferred, with knowledge of local aviation practices and customer preferences.
Proficiency in English is required; additional languages such as Arabic are beneficial.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
Knowledge of reservation systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre) and proficiency in computer applications.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
