Purchase Executive - Automotive

Job Responsibilities:
Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors for automotive parts and equipment.
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to maintain adequate stock while minimizing excess.
Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and manage order status to ensure timely supply chain operations.
Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, price fluctuations, and alternative suppliers.
Evaluate supplier performance, resolve any discrepancies or issues, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and maintenance, to forecast demand and ensure adequate supply levels.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and industry standards.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing within the automotive industry, with GCC experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of automotive parts, equipment, and suppliers.
Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing favorable terms.
Familiarity with procurement software and inventory management systems.
Proficient in conducting cost analysis and preparing budget reports.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple procurement tasks effectively.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building supplier relationships.
Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is an advantage.
Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations.
Ability to identify and mitigate supply chain risks proactively.
Analytical mindset to make data-driven purchasing decisions.
