As a Public Relations Officer in the healthcare industry, you will oversee the management and maintenance of all legal, governmental, and administrative documentation essential to healthcare facility operations. Leveraging your PR expertise and knowledge of GCC regulations, you will lead visa processing, ensure legal compliance, and handle administrative tasks critical to healthcare facilities. Your role will also focus on enhancing public perception and maintaining robust communication channels with stakeholders, patients, and regulatory authorities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain legal, governmental, and administrative documentation for healthcare facility operations, ensuring adherence to GCC regulations and healthcare standards.

  • Facilitate visa processing, residency permits, and other governmental procedures for employees and stakeholders within healthcare facilities.

  • Coordinate with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and legal advisors to ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and licensing requirements.

  • Develop and execute PR strategies to bolster the healthcare facility’s reputation, manage media relations, and address public inquiries or concerns effectively.

  • Organize and oversee healthcare events, conferences, and community outreach programs to promote healthcare services and initiatives.

  • Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing insights and recommendations to optimize PR campaigns and enhance organizational visibility.

  • Collaborate closely with internal departments, including marketing, HR, and clinical teams, to align PR initiatives with facility goals and strategic objectives.

  • Prepare and distribute press releases, articles, and promotional materials to effectively communicate key messages and achievements to the public and stakeholders.

  • Maintain accurate databases, records, and documentation related to PR activities, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field; additional certifications in PR or healthcare management are advantageous.

  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in public relations roles within the healthcare sector, demonstrating proficiency in managing PR campaigns and overseeing governmental documentation.

  • In-depth knowledge of GCC healthcare regulations, legal compliance, and administrative procedures relevant to healthcare facility operations.

  • Strong communication skills in both English and Arabic; fluency in Arabic is preferred to facilitate effective communication with local stakeholders.

  • Proven experience in crisis communication, media management, and fostering positive media relationships within the healthcare context.

  • Proficiency in PR tools and software for media monitoring, press release distribution, and campaign analytics.

  • Exceptional organizational abilities with keen attention to detail to manage documentation and administrative processes efficiently in a healthcare environment.

  • Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with diverse stakeholders, including government officials, media representatives, and healthcare professionals.

  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages, particularly Arabic, is beneficial for engaging with multicultural healthcare environments.
