Project Supervisor (Construction)

The Project Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and supervising multiple aspects of construction projects to ensure they are executed efficiently, within budget, and according to specifications. This role requires exceptional leadership, keen attention to detail, and the ability to effectively coordinate and communicate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients. The Project Supervisor is crucial in managing project resources, maintaining schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities to ensure adherence to project plans, schedules, and specifications. 

  • Monitor project progress and timelines, identifying and addressing potential issues or delays proactively. 

  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and resources. 

  • Assist in the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and progress reports. 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and change orders. 

  • Lead and participate in project meetings, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns. 

  • Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations on construction sites. 

  • Monitor and manage project budgets, expenses, and resource allocations effectively. 

  • Coordinate inspections, permits, and approvals necessary for project completion. 

  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork. 

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; additional certifications in project management preferred. 

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Project Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry. 

  • Experience working in the GCC region or similar environments is preferred. 

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting project plans, specifications, and blueprints. 

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities. 

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to effectively manage and resolve conflicts. 

  • Proficiency in using project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. 

  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. 

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. 

  • Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is beneficial.
