Project Manager (Construction)

As an experienced Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders. Your expertise will be critical in managing project resources, schedules, and budgets while ensuring compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
Plan, initiate, and manage construction projects from conception to completion.
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
Coordinate and oversee all project activities, ensuring alignment with project goals and specifications.
Manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure cost control measures are in place.
Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Conduct regular project meetings with stakeholders, providing updates on progress, risks, and issues.
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical and logistical challenges.
Review and approve project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and specifications.
Implement risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
Conduct project evaluations and post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future projects.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with GCC experience preferred.
Professional Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is preferred.
Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of local building codes, standards, and regulations.
Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of additional languages is beneficial.
