We are hiring an experienced Porotta Maker(Kerala) to join a well-established restaurant group in Qatar. The ideal candidate will specialize in preparing authentic, soft, and flaky porottas, maintaining quality and consistency in a busy kitchen setting.
Key Requirements:
- Prepare traditional porottas with the right texture, softness, and flavor.
- Manage dough preparation, rolling, and cooking on tawa or griddle.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the preparation and cooking areas.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to meet order requirements timely.
- Adhere to food safety, health, and sanitation standards.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience making porottas in a restaurant or hotel kitchen.
- Skilled in traditional methods of porotta preparation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic English communication skills are a plus.
