We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Pastry Chef with proven luxury hotel experience to lead and execute all pastry and dessert operations. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional quality, presentation, and consistency across all outlets while upholding the highest standards of luxury hospitality, food safety, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present high-quality pastries, desserts, breads, chocolates, and confectionery in line with luxury brand standards
- Manage daily pastry kitchen operations for restaurants, banquets, events, and room service
- Ensure consistency, creativity, and excellence in taste and presentation across all outlets
- Supervise, train, and develop pastry kitchen team members
- Assist in menu development, seasonal offerings, and dessert innovation
- Control food costs, portioning, and minimize waste while maintaining premium quality
- Maintain strict compliance with HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards
- Coordinate with purchasing and stores to ensure availability of high-quality ingredients
- Oversee equipment maintenance and cleanliness of the pastry kitchen
- Support the Executive Chef and culinary leadership team as required
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Certification in Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, or Bakery
- Minimum 4–7 years of pastry experience, with luxury or 5-star hotel background preferred
- Strong knowledge of classical and modern pastry techniques
- Experience in high-volume production for banquets and fine dining outlets
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
