Order Taker

Job Summary:
We are looking for a well-presented and customer-focused Order Taker to join the Food & Beverage team of a prestigious 5-star hotel in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of experience in a luxury hotel environment, with excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver high standards of guest service. Preference will be given to candidates with an Arabic or European background due to language and guest interaction requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Take room service and restaurant orders accurately and efficiently via phone or guest interaction.

Input orders into the POS system, ensuring all requests are clearly communicated to kitchen and service staff.

Upsell menu items and promote special offers to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.

Coordinate timely delivery of food and beverages to guest rooms or dining areas.

Maintain a professional, courteous, and welcoming demeanor at all times.

Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.

Maintain updated knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and dietary options.

Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the order-taking area.
Requirements:

1–2 years of experience as an Order Taker or in a similar customer-facing F&B role within a 5-star hotel.

Excellent verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic or other European languages is a plus.

Proficiency in using POS systems and telephone etiquette.

Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.

Friendly personality with a guest-first attitude.

Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Arabic or European candidates are preferred due to cultural and communication alignment with the hotel’s clientele.
