Mobile App Developer (Project-Based )

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Project-Based Mobile App Developer to design, develop, and implement mobile applications for a specific project. This temporary role is ideal for developers who enjoy building high-performance apps on contract terms. The successful candidate will work closely with our internal team and clients to deliver a fully functional mobile application within the project timeline.

Contract Type:

Project-based (freelance/contract), duration to be defined based on project scope.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, deploy and maintain high-quality cross-platform mobile apps using React Native
• Integrate backend services using Firebase (Firestore, Auth, Cloud Functions) and AWS (Lambda, S3, Cognito, API Gateway)
• Manage end-to-end deployment and publishing processes for Google Play Store and Apple App Store
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and stakeholders to build intuitive and engaging mobile experiences
• Write clean, modular, and testable code with clear documentation
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and user-reported problems
• Participate in regular check-ins and updates during the project lifecycle

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Proven experience developing and launching React Native apps on both Android and iOS
• Experience using *Canva* or similar tools for UX/UI design mockups
• Strong knowledge of Firebase and AWS services relevant to mobile applications
• Experience with publishing apps on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store (including provisioning, certificates, and store listing requirements)
• Proficient with Git and comfortable working in agile project workflows
• Excellent communication and time-management skills

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in mobile app development.
• Proven experience in successfully launching at least one app on the Play Store or App Store.
• Experience with native development (Kotlin, Swift) is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Remote/freelance work; must have access to a reliable computer and internet connection.
• Ability to work flexible hours based on project milestones.
