Mechanical Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Technician with 5–10 years of hands-on expertise in maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting mechanical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of pumps, motors, piping systems, HVAC components, and other mechanical infrastructure. The candidate must be locally available in Qatar with a valid visa and QID.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, valves, compressors, and piping systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of mechanical systems and components.
• Monitor system performance and conduct routine inspections to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
• Interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications to complete assigned tasks.
• Carry out alignment, balancing, and calibration of mechanical components when required.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations while performing maintenance activities.
• Document maintenance work, inspections, and materials used accurately.
• Coordinate with other departments for maintenance activities as needed.
• Report to the maintenance supervisor or engineer regarding equipment conditions and major findings.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
• Diploma or Trade Certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5–10 years of proven experience as a Mechanical Technician in a facility maintenance, industrial, or MEP environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, piping, pumps, HVAC support, and rotating equipment.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs independently.
• Familiarity with safety standards and mechanical codes applicable in Qatar.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical schematics and blueprints.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Locally available in Qatar with valid visa and QID (mandatory).
