Mechanical Engineer (Healthcare)

The ideal candidate will be involved in developing and evaluating mechanical designs, creating 2D and 3D models using computer-aided design (CAD) software, managing projects, and engaging in research and development (R&D) activities. Hospital experience is a must, and candidates must possess relevant certifications, including UPDA and educational qualifications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and evaluate mechanical designs for various projects.
• Create 2D and 3D models using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Oversee project management tasks, ensuring timely and efficient project execution.
• Engage in research and development activities to improve mechanical systems and processes.
• Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure designs meet project specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
• Ensure designs comply with international standards and regulations.
• Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding.
• Perform simulations and analyses, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), to validate designs.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably with hospital-related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• UPDA certification is required.
• Original educational qualifications and UPDA certificates must be provided.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software is essential.
• Strong experience in project management and research and development (R&D).
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of international standards and regulations related to mechanical engineering.
