Lobby Ambassador

The overall objective and purpose of the lobby ambassador position are to provide hospitable service to our guests to include a seamless arrival and departure experience. The incumbent is responsible for greeting guests, opening doors, transporting luggage, providing information about the hotel, responding to guest requests, and directing guests. Their responsibilities include guiding and leading the arrival experience team. They are to provide the highest level of service in support of the mission, core values, standards, and goals established by the company.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Front Office, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
Greet all guests as they enter and exit the hotel while ensuring service standards are followed
Engage in conversation with first time visitors, showing them the lobby and offering directions as required
Assist guests regarding hotel facilities and promotions in an informative and helpful way
To follow department policies, procedures and service standards
To follow all safety policies
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous guest service experience required
Must possess a professional presentation
Must possess outstanding guest services skills and sophisticated verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
