Job Summary

The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the IT department and ensuring the smooth functioning of the organization’s technology systems and infrastructure. This role includes providing technical support, implementing IT policies and procedures, managing IT resources, and collaborating with different departments to meet operational and strategic technology requirements.

The IT Manager will also contribute to project management, digital transformation initiatives, cybersecurity improvements, ERP/LMS implementations, and technology innovation to enhance overall productivity and operational efficiency.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise IT Technicians within the organization.
  • Provide technical support for all IT-related matters across the company.
  • Oversee:
    • Network Administration & Management
    • Applications & Systems Management
    • Hardware & Software Support
    • Database and Server Management
  • Monitor network resources and report any issues or damages to management.
  • Ensure regular system backup procedures are properly maintained.
  • Ensure antivirus and endpoint protection systems are updated and functioning effectively.
  • Maintain the smooth operation of wireless networks and internet connectivity.
  • Ensure all company applications and systems operate efficiently.
  • Install, maintain, and support computer systems, devices, and peripherals.
  • Maintain logs for all IT breakdowns, repairs, upgrades, and system modifications.
  • Provide recommendations on IT development strategies and hardware/software procurement.
  • Conduct regular inspections of IT systems and recommend upgrades or repairs where necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of software licenses and ensure compliance.
  • Maintain inventory and stock records of IT hardware and peripherals.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers for technical support and maintenance.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of the organization’s physical and logical IT infrastructure.
  • Support ongoing ERP, LMS, cloud, cybersecurity, and digital transformation projects.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong technical expertise in:
  • Network Administration
  • System Administration
  • Database Management
  • Hardware & Software Troubleshooting
  • IT Security & Infrastructure
Minimum 6 years of experience in the Hospitality sector. Experience in ERP systems, LMS platforms, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity is an advantage.
