HVAC Supervisor

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising HVAC technicians, ensuring the effective operation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. The HVAC Supervisor will also be involved in project management, troubleshooting, and ensuring that all work complies with local codes and regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of HVAC technicians and other staff in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems.
- Ensure that all HVAC systems are operating efficiently and troubleshoot issues promptly.
- Conduct inspections to ensure the proper functioning of HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
- Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
- Oversee the maintenance schedule and ensure all tasks are completed on time and to standard.
- Provide technical support and guidance to HVAC technicians, assisting with troubleshooting and system diagnostics.
- Monitor inventory levels of materials and equipment and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure adequate stock.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and local building codes.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of HVAC work, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
- Collaborate with project managers and other teams to ensure timely project completion.
- Perform training and mentoring of junior HVAC technicians.
- Ensure all HVAC systems meet energy efficiency standards and best practices.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
- Certificate or degree in HVAC technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HVAC Supervisor or in a similar role, with proven experience in managing HVAC systems.
- GCC experience preferred.
- Proficient in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and controls.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards in HVAC.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and drawings.
- Must hold a valid QID and NOC for employment in Qatar.
