HSE Officer

We are looking for a qualified and dedicated HSE Officer with a solid foundation in occupational health and safety, particularly within construction, manufacturing, or oil & gas industries. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring safe work environments by leading inspections, promoting safety awareness, and maintaining full compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular site inspections and proactively identify potential safety hazards

• Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and actively promote a safety-first culture

• Investigate workplace incidents and recommend effective corrective and preventive actions

• Ensure ongoing compliance with local and international HSE laws and standards

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and standard operating procedures

• Train staff on health, safety, and emergency response protocols

• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain timely documentation

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety into all aspects of operations

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field

• NEBOSH / IOSH certification (preferred)

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in HSE roles within relevant industries

• Strong knowledge of safety systems, risk assessments, and regulatory frameworks

• Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

• Resilient, adaptable, and capable of working effectively under pressure
