Helper - Gypsum / Paint and Common

We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals for the position of Helper (Gypsum / Paint and Common. This role will involve assisting skilled workers in general construction and maintenance tasks, as well as supporting the preparation and installation of gypsum boards and painting tasks. The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth running of the worksite by providing necessary assistance, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist skilled workers in performing various tasks related to construction, maintenance, gypsum board installation, and painting.
• Help with the preparation, mixing, and application of paint on walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.
• Assist in the installation, finishing, and repair of gypsum boards.
• Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from work sites.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, patching, and priming as needed.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of materials including gypsum and paint supplies.
• Perform basic construction duties such as mixing materials, cleaning tools, and handling equipment.
• Set up and break down work areas for gypsum and painting tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite, ensuring safety protocols are adhered to.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors or senior workers.
• Support team members in completing tasks on time and to a high standard.
• Ensure tools and equipment are cleaned and stored properly after use.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

• Previous experience as a helper in construction, gypsum installation, or painting work is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of construction or maintenance work.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor and lifting heavy materials.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean work environment.
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning.
• Must hold a valid QID and NOC for employment in Qatar.
• Preferred Nationalities: Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Nepali, Sri Lankan.
