As a Ground Services Agent (Ramp Specialist), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe handling of aircraft and luggage on the ground. Your responsibilities include maintaining operational efficiency and upholding safety standards during airport operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Safely marshal aircraft to and from gates and ramps, ensuring precise positioning for passenger boarding and disembarkation.

  • Load and unload baggage and cargo from aircraft, ensuring proper weight distribution and compliance with safety regulations.

  • Operate ground service equipment (GSE) such as baggage tugs, belt loaders, and aircraft stairs efficiently and safely.

  • Conduct inspections of GSE and promptly report any maintenance issues or concerns.

  • Assist with aircraft pushback and towing operations as directed by air traffic control and ground crew.

  • Coordinate effectively with flight crews, ground personnel, and air traffic control to ensure smooth and timely aircraft movements.

  • Provide excellent customer service to passengers by addressing inquiries, assisting with luggage, and handling concerns professionally.

  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in ramp areas, including debris clearance and adherence to safety protocols.

  • Adhere strictly to airport security measures and regulations, including baggage and cargo screening procedures.

  • Collaborate closely with team members to achieve operational objectives and foster a positive work environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in aviation or related fields is advantageous.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Ground Services Agent or similar role within the aviation industry.

  • Experience in ramp operations and proficiency in handling ground service equipment (GSE) are preferred.

  • Experience in the GCC region is preferred, with familiarity in local airport operations and regulations.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.

  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on operational requirements.

  • Commitment to safety, efficiency, and delivering exceptional service to passengers and airline partners.
