Grill and Shawarma Chef

We are hiring an experienced Grill & Shawarma Cook to join a dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in preparing a variety of grilled items and authentic shawarma, with a strong focus on hygiene, consistency, and quality. This role is essential in delivering excellent taste and presentation in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of grilled meats, poultry, and shawarma to meet quality and portion standards.
  • Ensure proper marination, seasoning, and cooking techniques are followed.
  • Operate and maintain grill equipment, rotisserie machines, and other cooking tools.
  • Monitor food preparation and presentation to ensure consistency and compliance with food safety standards.
  • Work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen while maintaining cleanliness and organization.
  • Follow hygiene and sanitation regulations at all times.
  • Support the kitchen team with additional duties as required.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Grill Cook or Shawarma Cook, preferably in a hotel, restaurant, or catering setting.
  • Proven ability to prepare traditional and modern grill and shawarma items.
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
  • Team player with good communication and work ethic.
  • Basic understanding of English and Arabic is an advantage.
  • Locally available in Qatar with a valid visa and QID.
  • Candidates from Asian nationalities are preferred.
