General Mechanic (Heavy Equipments, Hydrualics and Diesel Engines)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Mechanic with expertise in hydraulics, diesel engines, and general mechanical work for heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of hands-on experience, preferably in the heavy equipment rental industry, and possess technical knowledge of various heavy equipment such as excavators, generators, boom trucks, and compressors. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and other mechanical components of heavy equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment including excavators, generators, boom trucks, and compressors.
• Conduct inspections and assessments of equipment to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
• Ensure timely repairs to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations of rental machinery.
• Keep detailed records of service, maintenance, and repairs performed on equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to safety standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with the operations team to manage equipment maintenance schedules and rental requirements.
• Assist with testing and preparing equipment for delivery and rental purposes.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior mechanics as needed.
• Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and ready for deployment as per client specifications.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

• A diploma or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field is required.
• Additional training or certifications in hydraulics, diesel engines, or heavy equipment maintenance are advantageous.
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in mechanics, specializing in hydraulics and diesel engines.
• Experience in the heavy equipment rental industry is required.
• Strong knowledge and experience working with heavy equipment such as excavators, generators, boom trucks, and compressors.
• Basic understanding of diesel engine maintenance and repair.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• A valid visa and work permit for employment in Saudi Arabia is required.
