We are seeking an experienced General Manager for one of our prominent real estate clients in the UAE.

Principal Accountabilities (Key Performance Areas)

Leasing
- Developing Leasing Strategy
- Developing policies and procedures in line with Rera regulations
- Developing service standards

Asset Management
- Company
- Family

Portfolio Development:
- Developing investment strategy for Owners
- Quantifying existing portfolio to improve yield
- Diversification of portfolio – promoting stronger return on assets
- Working with local agents to understand market trends
- Acquiring new properties in approved areas of interest in line with Owner Budget

Facility Management
- Overseeing the Facilities Manager
- Ensuring Facilities Manager is implementing FM Strategy and following up on areas of focus such as outsourcing and PPM
- Developing efficient and effective service standards

Project management
- Managing Projects
- Overseeing planning and budgeting process for all new projects
- Ensuring strength of project communication and tracking is improved

An Exciting Opportunity for,

- Lead the real estate project development team
- Responsible for the business budget and projects’ profit and loss
- Analyse the real estate sectors to identify the best strategy and
development plan
- Gather, prepare, and present information to the senior management on
proposed projects in order to obtain approvals
- Track competitor locations and activities and update database timely
- Develop and cultivate relationships with landowners, brokers, potential
business partners, and professional organizations
- Manage, coordinate, administer, and negotiate the best deal structure for
the business
- Analyse and understand local ordinances and zoning codes to determine
development parameters
- Develop, monitor, and report detailed budgets, schedules, and status on
projects while maintaining and updating the senior management
- Manage all activities between stakeholders, consultants, and contractors
in order to deliver projects within scheduled timeframes and budgets
- Represent company to local government entities and the public including
facilitating community meetings and public hearings

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture from recognized university
- British nationality preferred 
- Europe real estate management experience important, Ideal candidate should have significant experience in leasing, asset management, project management and facilities
- Large portfolio management experience
- Previous exposure to maintenance management is preferred
- Minimum of 10yrs leadership experience
