General Manager (Healthcare)

As a General Manager in an healthcare facility, you will assume leadership responsibility for overseeing all operational and strategic aspects of the healthcare division. Leveraging your extensive experience in healthcare management and business leadership, you will drive operational excellence, growth initiatives, and profitability while ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services. Your role is pivotal in shaping the strategic direction, fostering innovation, and achieving sustainable business success within the healthcare sector.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the healthcare division, overseeing day-to-day operations, financial performance, and business development activities.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business plans and strategies to achieve growth targets, expand market presence, and enhance profitability.

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, regulatory authorities, and community leaders.

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, patient safety standards, and ethical practices throughout all operations.

  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for business expansion and service enhancement.

  • Prepare and present regular reports, financial statements, and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency and achieve financial objectives.

  • Drive initiatives for quality improvement, patient satisfaction, and operational excellence across healthcare services and facilities.

  • Manage crisis situations, resolve conflicts, and mitigate risks to ensure uninterrupted healthcare service delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MHA) preferred.

  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in senior management roles within the healthcare industry, including GCC experience with demonstrating strong leadership and strategic acumen.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing healthcare operations, achieving operational and financial objectives.

  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and industry standards.

  • Strong business development skills with experience in expanding healthcare services and market presence.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and build strategic partnerships.

  • Ability to drive change, foster innovation, and implement best practices to enhance organizational performance and service delivery.

  • Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and strategic planning to drive sustainable growth and profitability.

  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages, particularly Arabic, is advantageous for multicultural healthcare environments.
