General Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable General Maintenance Technician to join a prestigious luxury hotel group in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance across the property to ensure that all facilities, equipment, and guest areas meet the highest standards of functionality, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on hotel facilities, equipment, and systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical components.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests, departments, and management to minimize downtime and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues related to lighting, fixtures, appliances, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, hotel policies, and local building codes.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to support major repairs, refurbishment projects, and system upgrades.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and materials.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure proper working order.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental protocols.
• Provide exceptional service while interacting with guests and colleagues.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• Technical diploma or certification in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or General Maintenance.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in general maintenance, preferably within a luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, mechanical equipment, and basic carpentry.
• Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and on-call rotations as required.
• English proficiency required; additional languages are an advantage.
