Freelance Trainer (Legal Licensing, Permits, Regulations / SAM & NATO Codes)

We are seeking an experienced legal and compliance professional to deliver a 5-day classroom training program for logistics professionals. The program will focus on legal licensing, permits, regulatory compliance, SAM registration, and NATO NCAGE codes, enabling participants to confidently manage compliance requirements for both local and international logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging in-person training sessions covering:
  • Local and international licensing & permits in logistics
  • Regulatory compliance (customs, transport, warehousing, environmental & safety regulations)
  • SAM (System for Award Management) registration process
  • NATO NCAGE code application and management
  • Compliance risk management and best practices
  • Use classroom teaching methods: case studies, group activities, and live process demonstrations.
  • Provide printed handouts, flowcharts, templates, and checklists for participant use.
  • Facilitate interactive discussions, role plays, and Q&A sessions.
  • Conduct a closing session with compliance toolkits and practical takeaways.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in Law, International Law, Compliance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Proven expertise in legal licensing, regulatory compliance, SAM registration, and NATO NCAGE codes.
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in training delivery (classroom/in-person).
  • Strong facilitation and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to design and deliver practical compliance resources tailored to logistics operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with government/defense sector contracts.
  • Familiarity with Qatar licensing and regulatory systems.
