As a Retail and Supply Chain Management Trainer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of individuals working in retail, supply chain management, warehouse management, inventory management, waste management, procurement management, and asset management.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Curriculum Development:

  • Design and create comprehensive training modules covering retail management, supply chain management, warehouse operations, inventory control, waste management, procurement practices, and asset management.

Training Delivery:

  • Conduct engaging and informative training sessions for individuals at various levels within the organization.

  • Utilize a variety of training methods, including workshops, seminars, and hands-on exercises, to ensure effective learning.

Customized Training Programs:

  • Tailor training programs to address specific needs and challenges within the retail and supply chain sectors, considering the unique requirements of the organization.

Industry Trends and Best Practices:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to retail and supply chain management. Integrate relevant information into training programs.

Assessment and Feedback:

  • Develop and administer assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.

  • Provide constructive feedback to participants, guiding them in applying knowledge to real-world scenarios.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and continuously improve training materials and methods.

  • Stay informed about changes in regulations and standards affecting retail and supply chain management.

Technology Integration:

  • Incorporate technology and digital tools into training programs to enhance learning outcomes and simulate real-world scenarios.

Documentation:

  • Create and maintain documentation for training materials, resources, and participant records.


QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in retail management, supply chain management, and related areas.

  • Strong training and facilitation skills.

  • Knowledge of best practices in warehouse management, inventory control, waste management, procurement, and asset management.

  • Familiarity with industry software and technologies.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Certification in training and development.

  • Experience working with diverse teams.

  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and virtual training tools.
