Food and Beverage Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Food & Beverage Supervisor to oversee daily operations and drive service excellence within a luxury hotel establishment in Qatar. The successful candidate will ensure strict compliance with quality, safety, and hygiene standards while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. This role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and a dedication to delivering exceptional guest experiences aligned with brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure excellent guest experiences through prompt, courteous, and professional service delivery.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the Food & Beverage team to create a positive and productive workplace.
  • Manage daily team relations, encouraging problem-solving and empowerment through ongoing training and coaching.
  • Oversee inventory management, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and control costs.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and other departments to ensure seamless service flow and timely delivery.
  • Implement and maintain compliance with brand standards, health, safety, and sanitation policies.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Support the planning and execution of special events, promotions, and seasonal offerings.
  • Monitor financial performance indicators such as labor costs, sales targets, and budget adherence.
  • Maintain accurate operational records and prepare daily/weekly reports for management review.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Diploma in Hotel Management or any relevant field.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Food & Beverage or restaurant operations within the luxury hotel industry, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role (Required).
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Excellent guest service orientation and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on operational excellence and quality control.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Sound knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Proficient in inventory management, cost control, and staff scheduling.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to handling guest feedback and team challenges.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic and Russian is considered an advantage.
