Food and Beverage Supervisor

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to manage daily operations and uphold service excellence within a prestigious luxury hotel in Qatar. The ideal candidate will ensure full compliance with hygiene, safety, and quality standards while cultivating a supportive and performance-driven team culture. This position requires effective leadership, clear communication, and a passion for creating outstanding guest experiences aligned with luxury brand expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional guest service through prompt, polite, and professional interactions.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic work environment in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Lead and inspire the F&B team, fostering a motivated and efficient work environment.
  • Oversee team coordination, encouraging autonomy and continuous improvement through training and guidance.
  • Manage stock levels, procurement, and inventory control to minimize waste and optimize costs.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth service and timely execution.
  • Enforce adherence to brand standards, hygiene policies, and safety regulations.
  • Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
  • Assist in organizing events, special offers, and seasonal dining experiences.
  • Monitor financial metrics including labor costs, sales targets, and budget compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare operational reports for management.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in F&B or restaurant operations within a luxury hotel environment, including at least 2 year in a supervisory role.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and manage diverse teams.
  • Strong guest service skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
  • Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.
  • Solid understanding of health, hygiene, and safety compliance.
  • Proficiency in inventory tracking, scheduling, and cost management.
  • Solution-focused mindset with the ability to handle challenges efficiently.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages such as Arabic or Russian are a plus.
