As a Family Medicine Specialist, you will provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients of all ages. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions, performing routine check-ups, and promoting preventive healthcare practices. You will work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care and stay informed about medical advancements through ongoing professional development.

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough medical examinations and assessments for patients of all ages.

Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions commonly seen in primary care settings.

Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs and medical histories.

Perform minor medical procedures and interventions, such as vaccinations, wound care, and minor surgeries as required.

Educate patients on preventive healthcare practices, lifestyle modifications, and treatment options.

Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient referrals and ensure integrated care.

Stay current with medical practices and advancements through continuous education and professional development.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, examination findings, and treatment plans.

 

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or equivalent from an accredited medical school.

Completion of residency training in family medicine.

Board certification or eligibility in family medicine.

Valid medical license to practice as a Family Medicine Specialist.

Valid QCHP license to practice in Qatar.

Minimum of 5-7 years of clinical experience in family medicine, including primary care.

Proficiency in diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of medical conditions typically encountered in primary care.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with patients and colleagues.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and promoting patient safety.

Proficiency in additional languages, such as Arabic, is advantageous.
