Engineering Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Supervisor with specialized expertise in welding and plumbing to join a prestigious luxury hospitality establishment in Qatar. The ideal candidate will possess 5-7 years of proven experience in engineering roles, including supervisory responsibilities, within the luxury hotel or resort industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, lead, and coordinate all welding and plumbing maintenance activities across the property.
• Oversee a team of technicians, ensuring timely completion of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Conduct inspections and ensure all engineering works are compliant with safety, quality, and hospitality standards.
• Develop maintenance schedules and monitor the use of materials and equipment.
• Ensure minimal disruption to hotel operations by maintaining systems and responding promptly to engineering issues.
• Train and guide team members to enhance performance, technical skills, and adherence to safety procedures.
• Collaborate with other engineering departments and hotel management to ensure seamless maintenance operations.
• Maintain documentation of work orders, safety checks, and maintenance logs.
• Assist in procurement planning and inventory control of plumbing and welding tools and materials.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field (Required).
• 5-7 years of experience in welding and plumbing roles, including supervisory responsibilities, preferably in luxury hospitality environments.
• In-depth knowledge of welding techniques, plumbing systems, safety protocols, and hotel maintenance procedures.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in maintenance reporting systems and basic computer applications.
• Candidates must be currently based in Qatar with a valid QID and transferable visa.
