 As an Engineering Administrator in the aviation sector, you will play a critical role in managing engineering and maintenance operations within an airport facility. Your expertise will ensure the seamless operation of airport engineering systems, adherence to safety regulations, and support for continuous improvement initiatives. Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage daily engineering and maintenance activities within the airport, ensuring compliance with aviation standards and regulations.

  • Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and airport management to plan and execute maintenance schedules, repairs, and upgrades to airport facilities and systems.

  • Ensure all engineering work adheres to safety regulations and industry best practices, conducting regular inspections and audits.

  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for maintenance and engineering tasks, ensuring all staff are trained and compliant.

  • Manage documentation and records related to engineering activities, maintenance logs, and compliance reports.

  • Assist with the procurement and inventory management of engineering supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper storage.

  • Handle technical inquiries and provide support to engineering staff, facilitating problem-solving and troubleshooting.

  • Coordinate with airport operations and security teams to minimize disruption during maintenance activities, ensuring smooth airport operations.

  • Monitor and analyze system performance data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

  • Support environmental sustainability initiatives by implementing energy-efficient practices and technologies within airport engineering operations.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field.

  • 5-7 years of experience in engineering or maintenance roles within the aviation industry, with a focus on airport operations.

  • Experience in the GCC region is preferred, with knowledge of local airport engineering practices and cultural norms.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects and coordinate teams effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Proficient in the use of engineering and maintenance software, with familiarity with aviation-specific systems preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing engineering challenges.

  • Commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in engineering practices.

  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Fluency in English; additional languages, especially Arabic, are advantageous.
