Engineer ( Kitchen Equipment Technician )

As a Kitchen Equipment Technician, you have to perform routine and detailed preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, troubleshoots and repairs for (Rational Combi Oven, Deck Oven, Dishwashing machine, Pizza Oven, 6 Range Gas Burner, Deep Fryer, Hot plate etc.). Your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following;
1. Perform a wide variety of skilled duties, including installation, maintenance, and repair, as well as preventive and predictive maintenance of Kitchen equipments, devices, motors, and machinery.
2. Repair or replace defective parts of Kitchen equipments, devices, motors, machinery, switches and other industrial electrical fixtures. Assist in making additions, extensions and modifications in the electrical system.
3. Install, maintain, and repair electromechanical and electrical components of equipment and machinery.
4. Perform preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and repair of electrical equipment, lighting systems, and electrical equipment such as disconnects, faulty breakers etc.
5. Assist in the movement of machines/fixtures, materials and equipment as required. Actively participate in month-end inventories and asset tagging.
6. Safely performs functions of the position, including following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis and lockout / tagout procedures and wearing PPE as required.
7. Ability to effectively communicate with Colleagues & Guests. 8. In addition to perform any other Maintenance works assigned by Chief Engineer.
Qualifications Required:
1. Degree or Diploma in Engineering or a related field (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
2. Previous experience in similar role, with a minimum of 5 years of experience
3. Proficiency in installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial kitchen appliances, including ovens, refrigerators, dishwashers, and cooking equipment.
4. Ability to identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot faults in kitchen equipment, both mechanical and electrical.
5. Familiarity with industry safety standards and codes, including electrical codes, gas regulations, and health and safety protocols.
