Electrician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our facility management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment across various facilities. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, relevant certifications, and hands-on experience in a commercial or facility management environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in buildings, offices, and industrial settings.

• Diagnose electrical problems using schematics, wiring diagrams, and testing tools.

• Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and safety regulations.

• Perform routine maintenance to ensure the electrical infrastructure remains safe, reliable, and operational.

• Respond to emergency electrical issues and provide timely solutions.

• Maintain accurate records of work performed, inspections, and repairs.

• Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments as needed.

• Adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate PPE while working with electrical systems.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; a technical diploma or trade certification is an advantage.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a facility management or commercial environment.

• Valid electrical license or certification as per local regulations (e.g., Journeyman or Master Electrician).

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

• Proficient in using electrical tools, diagnostic devices, and testing equipment.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

• Willingness to work in different environments, including office buildings, industrial areas, and outdoor locations.
