As an experienced Dermatologist, you will provide specialized medical care focusing on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of skin disorders. Your expertise in dermatology and dedication to patient care will be essential in the healthcare facility.
Job Responsibilities:Conduct thorough consultations and examinations to diagnose and treat various dermatological conditions, including but not limited to acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancer.
Perform dermatological procedures such as biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and laser treatments.
Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and medical history.
Educate patients on skincare routines, preventive measures, and lifestyle changes to promote skin health.
Monitor and manage chronic skin conditions, providing ongoing care and support.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including oncologists, plastic surgeons, and pathologists, for integrated patient care.
Stay updated on advancements in dermatological treatments and technologies through continuous education and professional development.
Adhere to regulatory standards and guidelines for dermatology practice, ensuring patient safety and quality care.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting patient histories, examination findings, and treatment plans.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or equivalent from an accredited medical school.
Residency training in Dermatology from a recognized program.
Board certification or eligibility in Dermatology.
Valid license or registration to practice as a Dermatologist.
QCHP (Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners) license or equivalent from the relevant healthcare regulatory authority.
Minimum of 5-7 years of clinical experience as a Dermatologist, including experience in the GCC region.
Proficiency in diagnosing and treating a wide range of dermatological conditions.
Excellent communication skills to educate patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.
Strong interpersonal skills and empathy to build rapport with patients and address their concerns.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Commitment to evidence-based practice, patient-centered care, and continuous professional development.
Language proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
