As an experienced Dental Specialist, you will provide specialized dental care, diagnosis, and treatment to patients. Your expertise and dedication to oral health will be crucial in the healthcare facility.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform dental examinations and provide comprehensive diagnosis of dental conditions.

  • Plan and administer treatments including restorative procedures, root canals, extractions, and prosthodontics.

  • Conduct preventive dental care and educate patients on oral hygiene practices.

  • Interpret diagnostic tests such as dental X-rays and formulate treatment plans accordingly.

  • Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed dental records of patient consultations, procedures, and treatments.

  • Stay updated on advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional development.

  • Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure compliance with QCHP (Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners) standards.

  • Provide patient-centered care with a focus on comfort, quality, and ethical practices.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.

  • Residency training or specialist training in a dental specialty (e.g., prosthodontics, endodontics, orthodontics) preferred.

  • Board certification or eligibility in the relevant dental specialty.

  • Valid dental license to practice.

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of clinical experience as a Dental Specialist, including experience in the GCC region.

  • QCHP (Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners) license or equivalent licensing from the regulatory authority in Qatar.

  • Proficiency in performing a wide range of dental procedures and treatments.

  • Excellent communication skills to educate and interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.

  • Strong ethical standards and commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
