This position involves designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects, including buildings, roads, bridges, and other infrastructure. As an experienced Civil Engineer, you will utilize your technical expertise and attention to detail to ensure that projects meet specifications and are completed on time and within budget. Effective collaboration with project teams, architects, and contractors is essential to ensure the successful execution of construction projects. Your role will be critical in ensuring that construction projects are structurally sound, efficient, and compliant with all relevant codes and regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan, and oversee construction projects such as buildings, roads, bridges, and other infrastructure.

  • Prepare detailed engineering designs, plans, and specifications.

  • Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop and optimize project designs.

  • Perform calculations and simulations to ensure the safety and performance of structures under various conditions.

  • Review and approve shop drawings and submittals from contractors and suppliers.

  • Provide technical guidance and support during the construction and installation phases.

  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for construction projects.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.

  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for project stakeholders.

  • Investigate construction issues and recommend corrective actions.

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in civil engineering and construction technology.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Civil Engineer in the construction industry, with GCC experience preferred.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred.

  • Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, or similar tools.

  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and civil engineering principles.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Knowledge of local building codes, standards, and regulations.

  • Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of additional languages is beneficial.
