We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join a culinary team within a luxury hotel setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a designated kitchen section, delivering exceptional food quality, and upholding the highest standards of hygiene, presentation, and guest satisfaction expected in a five-star environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of an assigned kitchen section (e.g. Grill, Sauce, Pastry, Larder).
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes to luxury hotel standards with consistency and attention to detail.
  • Ensure mise en place is completed efficiently and service runs smoothly.
  • Supervise and mentor Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants, providing guidance and training.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and HACCP regulations.
  • Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation to meet brand and guest expectations.
  • Assist with menu development, tastings, and seasonal updates as required.
  • Control food costs by minimizing waste and ensuring proper stock rotation.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen sections and front-of-house teams.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of classical and modern cooking techniques.
  • Experience working in high-volume, quality-driven kitchens.
  • Professional culinary qualification or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Food Safety & Hygiene certification.
