We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join a culinary team within a luxury hotel setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a designated kitchen section, delivering exceptional food quality, and upholding the highest standards of hygiene, presentation, and guest satisfaction expected in a five-star environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of an assigned kitchen section (e.g. Grill, Sauce, Pastry, Larder).
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes to luxury hotel standards with consistency and attention to detail.
- Ensure mise en place is completed efficiently and service runs smoothly.
- Supervise and mentor Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants, providing guidance and training.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and HACCP regulations.
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation to meet brand and guest expectations.
- Assist with menu development, tastings, and seasonal updates as required.
- Control food costs by minimizing waste and ensuring proper stock rotation.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen sections and front-of-house teams.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of classical and modern cooking techniques.
- Experience working in high-volume, quality-driven kitchens.
- Professional culinary qualification or equivalent experience preferred.
- Food Safety & Hygiene certification.
