Carpenter (Healthcare Projects)

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in carpentry, particularly in hospital or healthcare settings, and must hold a valid ITI Carpentry Certificate and QID.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform carpentry tasks related to the construction, renovation, and maintenance of healthcare facilities.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and construction drawings for hospital projects.
• Construct, install, and repair structures, fixtures, furniture, and other wooden products.
• Ensure that all carpentry work complies with hospital-specific building codes and safety regulations.
• Work closely with project managers and other trades to ensure the timely completion of tasks.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall to specified measurements.
• Install and repair various wood structures, including partitions, doors, windows, and frames.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment on the job site.
• Nationalities Preferred: Sri Lankan, Indian, Nepali, Pakistani, Bangladeshi.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in carpentry, with a focus on healthcare or hospital projects.
• ITI Carpentry Certificate (original certificate required).
• Valid QID and work authorization in Qatar.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, and techniques used in healthcare settings.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in all tasks.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
