A Butler in a luxury hotel or resort provides personalized, anticipatory service to guests, ensuring an exceptional and seamless experience. The Butler acts as the guest’s dedicated point of contact, attending to their needs with discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail, reflecting the highest standards of luxury hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized service to guests, including luggage handling, unpacking/packing, and wardrobe management.
  • Deliver a warm welcome and orientation to guests upon arrival.
  • Attend to guest requests promptly and discreetly, ensuring satisfaction at all times.
  • Manage in-room services, including turndown, minibar stocking, and room setup according to luxury standards.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, concierge, and F&B teams to fulfill guest preferences and special requests.
  • Assist with organizing private dining, events, or experiences for guests.
  • Maintain a professional, polished appearance and uphold confidentiality and discretion at all times.
  • Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer services to enhance the luxury experience.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Butler or in a similar guest-facing role in luxury hotels, resorts, or private residences.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to deliver personalized, anticipatory service.
  • Knowledge of luxury service standards, etiquette, and discretion protocols.
  • Professional appearance, demeanor, and guest-oriented attitude.
