BMS Technician

The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled BMS (Building Management System) Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience. The role involves the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of BMS systems, ensuring the seamless operation of HVAC, lighting, and other building systems integrated into the BMS.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and commission BMS systems for new and existing buildings.
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot BMS hardware and software systems.
- Monitor and optimize system performance to enhance energy efficiency and control building systems effectively.
- Conduct system upgrades and ensure compatibility with current technologies and standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers for seamless integration with other building management systems.
- Maintain accurate records of service reports, maintenance schedules, and system modifications.
- Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns and resolve issues promptly.
- Provide technical support and training on BMS operations to clients and internal staff.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with BMS systems, HVAC controls, and related technologies.
- Proficiency in BMS software platforms such as Honeywell, Siemens, Johnson Controls, or Trane.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, lighting, and electrical systems.
- Experience with the installation, calibration, and troubleshooting of field devices, controllers, and sensors.
- Knowledge of energy management and efficiency practices.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
