Banquet Supervisor

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Banquet Supervisor to join a prestigious luxury hospitality group in Qatar. The ideal candidate will oversee banquet events, ensuring exceptional service, smooth operations, and a memorable experience for all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all banquet functions, from setup to breakdown.
- Lead and train banquet staff to ensure high standards of service and professionalism.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and event planning teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of events.
- Oversee table settings, room arrangements, and service flow according to event requirements.
- Monitor staff performance and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Handle guest requests and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards in all banquet areas.
- Assist in managing banquet inventory and requisitions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and hospitality standards.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- High school diploma or an equivalent recognized qualification; a diploma in Hospitality Management is an advantage.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Banquet Supervisor within a luxury hotel or upscale banquet environment.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering outstanding guest service.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic is required; additional language(s) are an asset.
- Preference will be given to candidates who are locally available in Qatar.
