Assistant In-Room Dining Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant In-Room Dining Manager to support the efficient operation of the In-Room Dining department within a prestigious luxury hospitality group in Qatar. The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing the delivery of exceptional room service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the In-Room Dining department.
- Supervise and coordinate IRD staff to ensure timely and courteous service.
- Support inventory management and ensure adequate stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies.
- Collaborate with kitchen and housekeeping teams for seamless delivery and service.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards in accordance with luxury hospitality guidelines.
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Assist in training, motivating, and evaluating IRD team members.
- Prepare operational reports and assist with budgeting and cost control measures.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar role within In-Room Dining or Food & Beverage departments in luxury hotels.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Proficiency in English or Russian, additional languages are a plus.
- Well-groomed and professional demeanor.
- Preference will be given to candidates who are locally available in Qatar
