We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Housekeeping Manager to support our commitment to delivering exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. The ideal candidate will assist the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing daily operations, managing the housekeeping team, and ensuring a luxurious and welcoming experience that aligns with our brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to five-star standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of room attendants, public area cleaners, and linen room staff.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house to ensure cleanliness and maintenance are up to brand expectations.
  • Support scheduling, training, and performance evaluation of housekeeping staff.
  • Handle guest requests, concerns, or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities; assist with procurement as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Assist with departmental reports, shift briefings, and staff development programs.
  • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Front Office, Engineering) to ensure seamless guest service.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records of housekeeping activities and incidents.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel environment, with at least 1-2 years in a assistant managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, equipment, and cleaning standards in a high-end hospitality setting.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Eye for detail, with a commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with housekeeping software and property management systems (e.g., Opera, HotSOS) is an advantage.
  • Flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Locally available in Qatar with a valid visa and QID (required).
  • Female candidates with bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English are preferred.
