Assistant Event Sales Manager

We are hiring a dynamic and results-driven Events Sales Executives to join a growing hospitality team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in event planning and sales within a luxury hotel, resort, or similar hospitality environment. You will be responsible for securing event business, managing client relationships, and ensuring seamless coordination between clients and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new business leads for corporate events, social functions, weddings, meetings, and banquets
- Respond to event inquiries, prepare customized proposals, and conduct site inspections
- Negotiate event packages and close sales in line with revenue targets
- Work closely with the events and operations teams to ensure all client requirements are executed flawlessly
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals
- Keep up-to-date records of all client interactions and event details in the CRM system
- Attend trade shows, networking events, and promotional activities as required
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to stay competitive
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in event sales or event coordination in the hospitality industry (hotel, resort, events venue, or similar)
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing end-to-end event execution
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with event management software or CRM systems
- Professional appearance and client-focused approach
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays based on event schedules
